I’m a current certified tutor for Varsity Tutors and have been for many years. I was in the financial services industry for almost 20 years, including analysis, portfolio management and corporate lending as a Senior Vice President. Throughout my career I had a passion for mentorship and teaching. I began teaching and missed two on the GACE exam; working primarily with ADD, ADHD and dyslexic students.I loved the work. I began to study learning as a conceptual construct. I read several books from Harvard neuroscientists on how our brain learns best and most easily. I incorporate these skills to my teaching program and student analysis. I've developed a 360 degree program for all FINRA exams, customizing each students lesson plans according their own individual needs; from the series 3 through the series 86. Last month I had four series 79 students pass. Each morning I read over 10 industry news forums and prepare exam materials in accordance. This approach has earned me over 470 5 star reviews.
